Old code has stories to tell. The Subsoft archive is a home for classic releases, source code and experiments from earlier days.
C64 and demoscene roots sit alongside older PC software and historical development work. The archive is being catalogued, with context and compatibility notes kept beside the original material.
Historical files will appear as they are recovered and checked. Nothing here is presented as a current release unless it really is one.

Sub.LibSSL v1.1 — original BlitzMax module by Kay Arnesen / Sub_Zero. Historical software from the Subsoft Legacy Software archive.
The original libssl.mod.zip is preserved byte-for-byte, including module source, examples, original compiled artifacts and bundled Windows libraries. Original attribution and license notices are retained. The wrapper declares the MIT license; bundled dependencies retain their own notices.
This is an unsupported historical archive, not the new Net.OpenSSL module and not a current secure TLS implementation. The bundled headers identify OpenSSL 1.1.0e from 2017. No compatibility with current BlitzMax-NG is claimed. For current NG development, see the separate Net.OpenSSL release under BlitzMax Tools.
The original examples include a duplicated demo private key and matching self-signed certificate which expired on 5 July 2006, plus old demonstration trust stores. They are preserved as historical sample data and must never be reused as live credentials or trusted certificates. Do not use this archive for production TLS.
